I did something funny on my bike today.

NOT AGAIN.

I took a ride down the highway to a ski resort near my town of Sault Ste. Marie. It's a nice winding road newly paved with lots of Connors left and right. It was a great ride I just got my backend together checked the cush seems ok chain is good and a little wear on my back sprocket. It ran great till I started heading back home and after 5 min the warning light came back on and I just cleared them I though the problem was solved. I looked down again and the light was off what was the problem then a little longer down the road it came on again. Could it be pressure it would go out with a little throttle boost, dam I hate when you think you got it right and back to start again. So I was about to stop at the tower entrance then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

It was my gas light not the engine light, how bad is that. I road the rest of the way home laughing and feeling a little dumb.

Happy Ride Home.

PS: don't now if the story belongs here but here goes.

Well, have you ever ran your bike completely out of fuel, poured in a small amout of gas that you had left over in that can in the corner and switched off the reserve ? Then you sit there wondering why it won't start ? I've done THAT one several times. Brain fade. ...J.D.

Story is funny, but the location caught my attention... I grew up in the Soo (actually Lower Island Lake) and figure you are talking about the road out there Searchmont? Fantastic bit of road... Lots of great roads in that area!
