Speedmaster Panniers

Had my Speedmaster 3 years from new and love it. Got the leather panniers from Triumph at the time of purchase. Problem is they are not waterproof or removable. Anybody come across any liners for them to keep your stuff dry and make it easy when you get to the hotel to take the stuff out and carry it in? Ended up using bin bags last year around Europe. Not the most affective or stylish option but ended up in a rush at the last moment.
Alternatively anybody using different panniers on their Speedy? If so what? And got any pics?

Some aftermarket panniers come with liners that are removable and have zippers and all. If you can find a vendor selling those and match up the size, you could get that vendor to order replacement liners for you to put in your panniers. Or just keep your eyes open for some zippable bags made of sturdy nylon canvas or something similar that are the size you need, and scoop them up.

i have nothing to prove, and little to lose.

I have the triumph leather bags on my '13 speedmaster as well. I really like the looks of them and want to keep them as long as I can. If you do decide to keep them, here are some things that can help with the water. A couple times a year I'll take them off, clean them and then generously apply a good leather dressing on them (sourced from hd), paying attention to all the seams. This stuff is pretty thick and you need to work it in a bit. I'll let them sit in the sun and roast for awhile to allow the dressing to melt in a bit, then wipe off. Been lots of places in all kinds of weather and this seems to work ok. I have had to replace some of the rivets holding the buckles on, so keep an eye on them. Good luck and hope you find something that suites you!

Google "saddlebag rain cover". They are cheap.
