I'm just back from a 80k ride.I put nitrogen in my tires today so though while I was out I'd do the local loop.A balmy 27 degrees Celsius.
BUT: Winter is coming ! We are opposite to you guys June is cold,December is hot.
I put nitrogen in to see if it lessens the loss of pressure. If my bike stands it loses tire pressure about a pound a week.I was hoping the nitrogen would minimise this.
Had nitrogen in car tires awhile back. It does lessen the loss over time. It's also supposed to not fluctuate pressure between hot and cold. My problem was the car shop's nitrogen producing machine broke down and they never fixed or replaced it. Never thought about the pressurised cylinder of nitrogen. And yes, red caps are the fastest in a drag race, but the green ones rule in the twisties.
Even if I'm out late[past 10-30pm:grin2:] I still wake up early and feel like @@@@ the next day.
Naps are wonderful!:laugh2:
I'm still 18 in the head, but ancient in the body:grin2:
