Does anyone have or know someone who has tried the new Mustang seat for the America/Speedmaster (manufacturer's web page)?
The price is pretty steep, but looking at review for other bikes (including some Thunderbird owners on this forum) they seem pretty good.
I am planning on doing some touring with this bike at some point and I don't think that the stock seat is going to cut it for consecutive days of long rides. The stock seat tends to push me forward into the gas tank and make my pants ride up my waist. Lower back discomfort goes away after getting off the saddle and moving around for a few minutes, like when gassing up. I'm 5'11" and 180~ lbs.
Also I'd like to hear what some of you guys are using for saddlebags and windscreens for extended trips. I have the roadster screen and oem saddlebags but neither really suited for multi-day rides.
Cheers :beerchug
