Does anybody know for sure whether the 2010 Triumph fly screen (Triumph part # A9748027-JI) will fit the 2008 America? Did the 2010's still have the larger head light, like the 2008's?

Also, how big a deal are they? Do they really make much of a difference on the highway?

I'm not sure what the part number is on the Triumph screen I bought for my wife's 2012 America, but it's the quick detachable screen. It is an ok screen under 60 mph, but above that the buffetting is quite apparent.

I have a Dart fly screen on my 2011. It works great on keeping the wind blast off my chest. I think it depends on your height and riding position. I get a smooth non turbulent air stream on my helmet face shield. I'm 6 feet tall.

I have the roadster screen for my 2010 America, the buffeting is almost unbearable. I'm planning a switch to a summer or dart screen in in teh near future. Its nice to have the wind off your chest. But i've been told to get a drag style handlebar to make me lean in to a more forward riding position and ditching a screen completley.

I have one for 05 speedy , but now Ride with nothing up front !

Removed speedo and lowered rear suspensión and can Cruise over 120 mph with NO COMPLAINTS. !

Its the dark smoked screen if any one wants to buy it .....cheap !

So is the general consensus that the roadster screen creates buffeting.
Anyone had any experience with the alternative summer screen?
My Wife’s asking me if I would get her one for her birthday but I don’t want to get it if she’s going to be buffeted.

I bought the DART flyscreen a few weeks ago. Been on two bike trips, both with mild wind. Not sure I have noticed much of a difference, but I like the look on the bike so I'll leave it on for now.
