Never rode one.

What draws you to it?

V-rod??

I have never been the HD fan, have a bud with a 2011 screaming eagle v-rod. On our last ride we switched horses cause he wanted to ride my speedy! So what the heck I'll ride the rod. His v-rod has many upgrades......pipes,juice box etc....I'm not impressed sorry! Power comes on kinda slow and ride was ok,not for me, My 2010 speedtriple was way nicer and my Ktm 950sm would blow this V-ROD AWAY!!!! SORRY! Didn't like it!!

You should test ride a Tbird. Comfortable.. powerful.. balanced.. etc. it's just a fun ride. I had an '11 speedy.. and liked it a lot. But one test ride on a Tbird.. and it was all over for me.

V rod

I took a test ride on the V rod at the last Harley demo day ride. Felt very comfortable on the ~20 mile loop we did. New and completely stock. It was not "fast" but was responsive and handled well. It was a group thing so no hooliganism stuff. The heat off the exhaust on my right leg was ridiculous. While it was nice to experience I would not want one for a daily driver.

Tried one, did not corner even a forth as well as the TBird. That was enough for me...
