I'm trying to get white wall tires for my '12 America. Metzeler makes the ME880 marathon white walls but i want to know what is the difference between 170/80-b15 and 170/80-15 tires?

I thought you couldn't get white walls that fit anymore, unless you modified the front fender. Is that only for the older bikes?

I did a previous post on white wall tires. When the OEM tires need replacement, I will go with white walls.

I have been running whitewalls for 3 or 4 years , the front is larger than stock (120) but I raised fender mount 1" and all is GOOD !

Thank you for the helpful hints. I think I'll go for the metzeler but does anyone know about shinko? I've read many different reviews, some like them others don't. But has anyone on this thread used them?

This is what I've heard, that you have to mod the front fender by raising it an inch or so.

Is Metzler the only choice for white walls?

No, shinko tire has white walls. But I'm not to sure of the quality.
