Been riding Asian cycles since about '69. At 55, I just moved UP to my first British motorbike. Took possession of a new '13 America today. In Sapphire blue and white, it looks great and drives even better.

54 and been riding for about 17 years. Been through more bikes then my wife likes to think about. Recently purchased 09 America and forgot how much fun a cruiser feels to ride, so I guess I'll see how much the 11 Suzuki Vstrom650 gets ridden.

61 and I've been riding for 46 years. Started on a 50 cc Yama and sold my 2053 cc Kawi
V2K LT several months ago. Loved the looks and power, but after 4 years, I wanted something lighter. Buying the America was just what I was looking for! It's about half the weight and great fun! It took a while to adjust to the lighter and quicker cornering America, but now it's really comfortable. Just wish there was more aftermarket items!

Old guy
Been riding since 16 and am now 65. Always love Triumphs but have owned 40 or 50 different bikes. I think this may be the last bike I own. I love the look and feel of it. 2012 Speedmaster.

Hey wbarnier, I'm liking the rider backrest. I've been looking around different accessory web sites and can't say I've seen a backrest, who makes it. Thanks

driver backrest
You can get one from Fast Eddie's web site. He is an excellent person to do business with. http://www.fasteddysports.com/?page_id=3&category=555

If you are looking for a driver backrest and have a rider seat on your bike check out this backrest I put on my '08 America. It is real easy to install, only cost $99 when I got mine in Oct. 2011, and the great thing is you can easily remove it in 5 seconds! I got it from Grasshopper Ltd. and this is the website. http://www.grasshopperlimited.com/triumph/

That looks nice and its pretty cheap. Like that it is so easy to take off. There goes another $99 of my hard earned money.
I'm 32 and recently got an America. Been riding about 10 years. Dirt, street, track, vintage, cruisers, supermoto. I love and have owned all things two wheeled.
