Has anyone tried cutting the springs on the shocks? thinking of doing it ..cheap easy mods wont mind dropping the bike a couple ! And what shocks fit the 08 Speedmaster.. thanks

I would consider a second set of shocks should I want to return the bike to original height at a later date. My concern in cutting the springs, is the "temper" still the same? How much would get cut? I can remove metal, but it is kind of hard to put back on if I remove too much.
