Sidestand spring post snapped off.!

I'm wondering if this has occurred to any other owners.
I have an 09 America. The “mushroom” that is attached to the frame that holds the side-stand spring has snapped off. It is part of the frame. I have had a good look and there are no marks or gouging, so I’m assuming it didn’t hit anything.
I'm waiting to find out if it’s going to be covered by the guarantee.

My spring came off when taking it off the trailer once, but there was no other damage. Good luck and it should be covered by warranty.

I took the bike down to thw dealer yesterday. They took some photos and said they would send them off to Triumph. Today I got a ring from the Dealer and they will supply and fit a new frame bar and spring under the gurantee. It has to come from the UK and they will give me a ring when it arrives.
