Sorry, another exhaust-jetting question

Hi Guys, this is my first post after a year of amassing a wealth of information from studying this site. Recenty I have looked through many posts but they don't seem to fully answer my latest poser.
I have fitted a pair of Trident slash cut stainless exhuasts to my '06 Speedmaster. I haven't made any other modifications, when I contacted the manufacturer they said I don't need to re-jet, (which I feel may have been a sales ploy) despite the fact that I could see daylight through the pipes with the baffles in place (before I fitted them obviously!)
I have run them for about 80 miles with no blueing of the downpipes and I get no popping on decelleration.
Is it possible I don't need to re-jet or adjust the mixture? It seems hard to believe as the are REALLY loud. The question is, what do I do? If I carry on as I am what am I going to do to the motor.
I have looked at Dinqua's site but my exhausts aren't listed.
I live near London at sea level if thats relevant!
Thanks in advance
DodgyRog

For informational purposes, have you done any additional modifications to the bike that might be relavant?

For example:

-AI or Airbox mods (filter change, bellmouth, chopping the airbox, removing the airbox / pod filters)

-Carb changes / rejetting?

That sort of info will help someone with more experience than me provide you with educated feedback.

Regards,

-B

Sorry, I read that as 'haven't made any other modifications to the Trident pipes'

Give this a read, Rog:

http://www.triumph-bonneville.com/im...nfo%202007.pdf

About 10 pages, and it really helped me understand the tuning options for my bike.

i would suggest pulling your spark plugs and reading them to see if you are running lean, which you should b if you added aftermarket exhaust. this should tell you if u need to rejet

If you have just changed the pipes and not altered the air box you may be able to dial it in with adjustment to the fuel mixture screws. As said, read the plugs and watch for negative abnormalities.

Many thanks for the comments. I'll do the obvious stuff and come back with an update.
Thanks again

I swapped out my stock pipes for a set of Sceptres at about 10,000 miles on my '07 speedie. Didn't touch the carbs because it was running/sounding like I thought it should. When I clocked over 40k, I figured it was time to switch plugs, even though I wasn't having any real issues. The old plugs looked pretty much perfect. In fact, I keep 'em in my tool bench in case I might need a spare in a pinch.
I still have the replacement jets that the Sceptre folks provided somewhere, but don't think I'll ever use 'em.
