Kuryakyn footpegs

I think I really must have worms or something because at a recent Triumph rally someone mentioned that the footpegs on my America were looking a wee bit worn; and that was after only 15000km.

Anyway, it got me to thinking about replacements and I've been looking at the various Kuryakyn footpegs. I quite like the look of the 'Dually' range and was wondering (as one does after a couple of bourbon and cokes) what opinions and experiences the greater America/Speedmaster community has on this subject.

The 'Pilot' pegs also look OK as do the 'ISO' pegs. I'm open to all other suggestions that are 'peg' related

Kuryakyn footpegs

I can vouch for the Dually pegs. They come into there own on long rides and with the wider foot area they really are very comfortable once you get the angle set just right.
As an added bonus they also look so much better than stock pegs.
Here's how how they look fitted.

I can't comment on the duallys or the pilots (I really wanted the switchblades but couldn't get them from my vendor), but I bought the iso wings and they have been an enormous headache for me since purchase. The thing that drives me nuts is trying to get the set screw that maintains the angle tight enough to keep the wings from rotating around the post. Major pain in the A. But I know most folks like the Kuryakyn footpeg options quite a bit, on the whole.

Not something I'd considered to be an issue so thanks for the post. The Dually pegs certainly look great and I'm wondering if there are any 'operational' issues with them. That is to say, how usable are they? Are they comfortable withy prolonged riding? Are there any problems with gear changes or rear wheel braking? Or am I just being too 'anal' here ?

If the duallys or similar models work the same as the isowings, you will still have to contend with the set screw. I did find that it changes the ergos somewhat- but it's not less/more usable, just an adjustment. The key is getting the angle right- and keeping it there.

Wolfman - I had the same problem with my wings coming loose - spring washers cured the problem - no more floppy pegs

Thanks Flea. After snapping off the replacement screw in the hole, I decided to retire the isowings ;-) put on a pair of the switchblade pegs which are awesome. Compact like pegs, but convertible to more area for your foot with the stirrups. And no issues with the damn things spinning around on the adapters when trying to shift

Hey wolfmanjr would you be interested in getting rid of the isowings?
If so PM me.
