Weeping top oil line on new Speedmaster

Hey guys (non-gender specific greeting )

I have had my new Speedmaster for just over a month now and have noticed that the top braided oil line to the cooler is weeping oil. Not much, but enough to get dirty and attract the road grime.

I was just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this before I take it back tothe dealer to sort out. I know Trumpies are not authentic if they don't leak il some where, but I was hoping to have it last longer than a month before it did

Cheers
Pearsy

still under warrentee? let the dealer fix it.

It is probably just a crush washer in one of the oil line connections, most likely from the oil cooler end. These are difficult to tighten correctly as you need a back up wrench on the cooler and care must be taken not to over torque as the bolt (banjo bolt) is hollow and weak. Use a torque wrench.

Mine leaked from day one. Top connection was not seated correctly and the complete line had to be replaced with a new one. Dry as a bone 2 years later.

I let dealer replace mine under warranty, and have not had a problems since.
