Fuel dripping from vent hose?

I just finished riding a couple hours ago and when i got off my bike and turned the bike off I noticed a very small wet mark under the bike. This is the second time I noticed this recently. I got under the bike and smelled the liqiud which is gasoline and saw it was comming from the vent tube from the tank which leeds to underneath the bike. This is the first ive noticed this and wondering why this is happening. I havent been doing anything out of the normal and bike doesnt seem to be running any diffrent. Bike has been sitting for about 3 weeks with an occasional start up once or twich a week because its winter and cold. Bike is garaged in an unheated garage but has no problem with cold starts by pulling out the idle adjuster and letting it run for a minute or two then pushing it back in. Bike is a 09 America. TOR short slash, AI still in tact and k&n filter with no other mods. Any ideas why I might be getting this very small dripping of fuel?

It would drip if your gas cap vent is plugged. Next time it happens undo your gas cap and listen for suction, there should be none. You didn't overfill the tank ?

I only had about half a tank of gas if that. I will check for suction tomorrow but if the cap is blocked how should I unblock it. I guess I could use a thin wire or something. Could have it been moisture? or condensation from sitting a little while? Ill have to take it for a good ride and check it again, started it today for a little bit and didnt notice any fuel dripping so maybe yesterdays ride cleared it up.

Yea, could have been dirt or something. Because it vented thru the hose causing the wet spot it may not build up vaccuum and make the sucking sound on after thought.
