Question Behide the cheese grader! HELP!

I have a '09 Speedmaster. Is that a battery optimizer connection behind the cheese grade. If so, I was thinking about purchasing a Triumph optimizer to maintain the battery thur the winter. Any replies are greaty appreciated.

My 09 Speedmaster came with the hook-up for the battery tender. I found one at a different store that had the compatible connections for a little less than the dealer price and didn't have to drive as far to get it.

My dealer is also an hour away. I cancelled the order because my dealer said it was on back order and didn't know when the optimizer would be in. I had waited a month. Could you send the name of the store you order from or their web site. Thank you RonL for the help.

IIRC, I think I picked it up at Meijer, but your LAPS ought to have them as well. It's made by Schumacher.

Life is such a Pickle or is Olives!

Thanks for getting back to me, but what is LAPS. I've heard of Meijer, but finding one in Southern Illinois is like a needle in a
haystack. I'll look up Schumacher on the net. I'm out here in the Pickle. Also what is IIRC. ol' great one! God bless!

Is this just a US only thing as mine doesn't have this at all. Shame as it would have saved me cursing when running the cable for my own charger

Smile About behide the cheese grade!

I don't know. I"ve tried to get info from Prue-Triumph and no response yet for the connection behind the cheese grade. I've also used a tester on the connection it doesn't have power to it until you turn the key on so, I'm thinking it isn't a connection for battery maintaining. I'm taking a wild guess and will say that it's for cell phones, mp3, and accessories like a heated vest. I've since put the cable from my battery maintainer on the battery post to keep battery charged. I've also tried to post a picture on the Forum but, no luck with the up -load. I've also tried potobucket.
