Well it has finally happened. There is an alternate CDI unit available from Procom for the 270 engines. I've included the info from the Bonneville America Forum which includes some pics of the unit. Appears to be programable.
Procom appears to have made a small batch to see if there is market demand. The more interest we show, the more they will make.

It seems to fit all modern twins. A few of the guys are fitting them in the States. Time will tell how good they are I guess.
