I have just bought an '05 Speedmaster with the bug shield installed. That's perfect for summer (which we are just entering in Oz) but I might want something more in winter as I use my bike for commuting all year 'round. Do any of the other Triumph shields (or any other shields, for that matter) use or work with the same mounting hardware as the bug shield?

I do not know if any would use the same mount. I have been looking at windscreens and ran across another posting which made mention of these shields which do look appealing to me since they do cover the handle grip areas.

The one mentioned for an America is mod # SS-30-17CV or SS-32-17CV. It supposedly mounts to the tubes, which sounds like a stronger mount to me.

I am curious how well the fly-screen works for you. Just seems so small so wasnt sure how much deflection it does.
