Torque on Handlebars

Does anyone know what the torque setting is for the handlebars on the America?

Haha, that's a great new twist one the 1/4 turn "rule."

Try this: If the bars spin, the riser caps are too loose. There are times where you just don't need to worry about the torque so long as you don't strip out the threads. Just know what you're tightening into... aka your risers are probably aluminum so it's slightly easier to crank on the bolts too hard and strip it out than if you were threading into steel. You'll develop a feel for it after you've tightened enough bolts. If you really want to know specifics, picking up a Haynes manual is a good place to start.

Hopefully you've already found it, but just in case, it's 26 nm, just over 19 ft/lb.
