Handguards????

Does anyone make handguards for the Speedmaster? I'm planning on trading my Tiger for a Speedmaster and will be riding most of the winter. When I had my '03 Speedy, keeping my hands from freezing was a definite problem when riding to work in the winter. Some handguards would definitely come in 'handy'.

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

FrankM, Thanks for that link. I knew about the Hippo Hands but they aren't what I was hoping for. I as looking for handguards like this...

Just something that will block the wind and keep it from freezing the digits whilst I ride to work.

I do appreciate the link.

National Cycle makes some clear handguards/deflectors that don't look like they came off an enduro bike. If you've got a clear wind screen these should blend in styling wise.

scroll down to Hand Deflectors for a look see

DaytonaNewbie,

That's exacree what I was looking for - Thanks. Unfortunately, the site says the deflectors are "Bike Specific" and they don't even list the Speedmaster in the bike selection drop-down.

Now - The pics are clear enough to see that the deflectors are mounted to the mirror stalk base. Shouldn't be too hard to fabricate something that'll work.

Thanks again for the link.

No problem, glad to help. I saw them when I was researching a larger windscreen for my Rocket. I don't think they have an exact fit for my bike yet either, at least not the last time I really looked, but they won't look like you stole them off an enduro/dual sport bike.
