aftermarket pipes

I have an 04 Speedmaster, all stock, and am looking at getting some new pipes..the advice on the forum is great, it seems like Sceptre and Thunderbike make good pipes, but are a bit pricey for me now, and dont have a good spot to modify my own...Does anyone know anything about EPCO pipes? -havent seen them discussed..

http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/epco_mufflers.html

Also, where can you get TOR pipes? Are these stock on some models, and then traded around? They don't seem to be easily searched for via google...thanks in advance for helping the youngster

There are a ton of posts on exhaust, try searching around. However, for my money SS from Fast Eddy are the way to go. Look and sound great and doesn't destroy the wallet too bad. I have spectres and love them but I was about 1 click away from buying the SS.

Can't help with the Epcos, but TOR's are Triumph optional pipes. TOR stands for Triumph Off Road, called that because. I believe, they are not street legal in the UK.

A less expensive option for priprs is to buy debaffled stock pipes from Don Shigakewa ( dshigeka@sbcglobal.net ). He goes by chevy605 on the BonnevilleAmerica.com forum. You can email him to see what he has available. He buys stock pipes and mods them. He'll either sell you a set or you can ship your stock ones to him and he'll mod them and send them back.

I bought from him, spent about $140 with shipping. I thought I'd just use them till I could afford something else, but after installing them and hearing them, I won't be looking to replace them. They make my America sound like the Bonnie I had, way back when.

Hope this is of some help

Take a look at www.trident-exhausts.co.uk - all stainless, with a legal and a street baffle or they can be left open if you like it noisy. Lifetime warranty and well priced

Would be nice, but $550.+ to the US is pricer than what's available over here.

I have long TORS on my 07 & like them. They come up for sale from time to time on the classifieds & Fleabay. That said, I don't know of anyone who has Chevy605's modded stockers who regretted getting them.
