Bull Horn Bar vs HD Street Bob Bars

I know there are a few of us interested in changing their bars. Here are a few pictures to see how they look.

The wider bars is from Street Bob. Please note the buckhorn bars curved down much more than Street bob.

From other angle:
Top is buck horn

Street Bob Bars:

As now, I learn toward to Street bob bars. Buck horn bars is a bit radical bent down to much for my liking. Anyone want my bar can have it for 10% less plus actually shipping cost. Otherwise, I will just return to the delaer.

With 1" risers, SB bars will be perfect for me. I still need to sort out what cables need to be replaced and where to source this out.

Both look great, and thanks for comparing the two.

Definitely something I'd like to do to mine, and I quite fancy the Buckhorns. Do you think they could fit without wiring mods?

Only if you have America, but Speedy needs new cable.

I have the Biltwell mini apes, just waiting to order cables(which I have been for a month or so now.) they are 12 inch bars, need all new cables which are gonna run $280 or so. Anyways, they look awesome. Just need to change out the risers, the stock risers are a bit much. Very comfortable.

MK, please share with you where to get your cables and riser. I have a hard time to find a pair short riser with a reasonable price (less than 100 clams). I see more the 4 to 6" around.

Why not just cut and extend the existing cables? That's what I did when I ran them through the bars.

I don't think I'll be cutting and extending my brake cables, I don't trust myself that much. Plus of course I want braided cables. I think I'll order my motion pro. You have to send your cables in but its much cheaper. Was gonna go through Bella but I know he just orders from motion pro and marks em up which is fine because he saves you from sending yours in. Thats why I'm waiting for winter to do it, have had my bars for weeks. As far as risers, I just ordered the biltwell risers as well. Had to shell out the 100 bucks. I'm gonna try cutting my risers down, worst thing that happens is I ruin them. If they work, I'll return the 100 paperweights. I'll try to keep ya posted. I really had no clue how much money it would cost to change my bars until I started. Price to pay to be comfy and look cool.
