Hi All,

I just installed some new turn signals. While the installation went pretty well (much better than I'd anticipated in fact), the new signals blink significantly faster than the old ones. My vague memory of a similar problem with my SV650 is that the new signals may need different ampage bulbs. Is this correct? If so, what exactly do I need? If this is incorrect, is this a problem? Thanks.

If they are LEDs you probably need a 'load equalizer' as discussed and sold here:

Thanks for the suggestion. However, they're not LEDs. Any other ideas?

Go to Radio shack and get an 8ohm resistor. Splice it inline with the blinkers and see if that helps.
