I can't find the manual on my used thruxton. I took off the seat and sidecovers, but see neither the manual nor a good place to stash it.

Is there a designated spot for the manual?

Dave

Mine was under the seat! For the little it's worth. Smart money is to order a shop manual.

I imagine a dealer would be able to get one for you.

Short of that if you need data from it, post a question here. There are plenty of generous folk, who'll dig up the anser for you.

Cheers, Cyn-

Skeptic - I just ordered the latest shop manual for the Bonneville / Thruxton. It now covers all models and is very indepth. The cost was 49.00 plus tax from Moto Britalia. There is far more useful info in the shop manual - that the owners manual does not cover. A "must have" if you do your own work. JCW

I'm betting that if you give Triumph America (I'm assuming you are in the States) a call & tell them your tale of woe, they will probably hook you up. I'm sure a dealer would too, but they may charge you for it.

I work for Canon (Office Reprographics Division) and can make copies if anybody is interested. I don’t own the shop manual since I'm mechanically incompetent but if you want to send me one I can make copies for anybody that wants it. Keep in mind that I would have to cut the binding off with a book trimmer. Its only cuts off 1/16 of an inch. After that I would rebind it and the copies.

Not a bad deal if 3 or 4 people want to chip in.
