Mototwin now has the Shark Hi-Level exhaust system available:

Shark at Mototwin

They look pretty cool, especially with that naked rear end. I almost wish I'd not just installed D&D's. Still, at 390 Pounds, I'd not be able to afford them anyway.

And responding to my own post, those mirrors don't look bad either. Are they Rizomas?

Anybody know of a brake fluid reservoir replacement? That huge blob of opaque plastic looks horrible. I'd prefer a black one with a window.

They look really great. Even the passenger's footpegs can be retained, apparently.
Here is the link to the German manufacturer's site: www.fechter.de/start_system.html
Click on 'Triumph' in the quick-finder, then Thruxton, and it's the bottom one of the two descriptions that will appear.

I got an email from Tim Cole at MotoTwin about them. I hope to order a set of the Sharks here in the next few weeks.

I have not been able to find anyone else, but I think that MotoTwin is the only place to get them on the web (that I can find anyway).

Pricey, but boy do they look trick!

As far as heat is concerned, if you look at the picture of the system by the side covers, there are heat shields. It is not going to by completely cool, but there will most likely not be any blistering heat present in that area. My V-Star has Hard Krome pipes, with heat shielding closer to the jugs - I have never been burned once and my upper ankle by the floorboard is close and sometimes touches the pipe - with no burning.
