FYI - We just got in a shipment of brand new EBC Road Racing Rotors for the Thruxton. These things are in very limited supply and are designed for racing purposes only. More info can be found here http://www.newthruxton.com/html/ebc_brakes.html

Very nice!
I saw a article in Sprot Rider about ceramic rotors for street use, any word on these?

What makes 'em "race use only"? I had the dealer replace my rear rotor because it was warped, but the new one is rubbing also. I assume these are front rotors only? The link doesn't specify.

Any word on a 4 pot caliper to replace the stock Nissin 2 pot. These are/have been standard on a slew of jap and even a few euro bikes going back to the 80's - there has to be a four pot upgrade some how. That combined with improved pads, rotors and stainless lines would provide much improved braking power. JCW

Not sure about the ceramic street use rotors or a 4 pot system yet. We're keeping our eyes open, though.

yeah, this is for the front only. And as for them being race use only, that is the manufacturers insistence and we have to abide by that and recommend that it's used accordingly. Obviously, how it's used once it leaves our hands is up to the consumer.

I love to get these, as I'm in the market for a front break upgrade. It is cool looking, for anything but a Thruxton or Bonnie. If they replace that blue with a natural metallic color it would be much better for us.

the main prob with double acting calipers is clearance of the spokes.... not a prob with mag wheels of all the sport bikes.
