I'm looking to upgrade my front brakes, perhaps just new pads. Has anyone done any upgrades, what did you do, and did you like the results?

Thanks much for the info.

i'm most confident that my new ss brake lines will be of benefit (in feel)

while the mecatwin rotor i got from jack lilley may be simply cosmetic?

it's in the shop now and i should get some decent testing in next week. report/review to follow

Check out latest Torque edition with Thruxton Cup suspension and brakes kit - looks like nice Brembo unit up front.

Brembo have made a brake upgrade for the Tbird and Adventurer for quite a while. The Thruxton uses the same brake as the TBird (albeit with a floating rotor) so that kit should work just fine. I suspect that's what you are looking at.

Mick-thats what I have been trying to research - knowing that 2pot nissin on my thrux - is used on a slew of bikes in the world - there has to be a four pot replacement - any idea on where I can find the brake upgrade you talked about on the T-bird. I'd like to check it out to see if it might work. TIA JCW

or

http://www.yoyodyneti.com/

Last time I looked into this they were available in europe but not in the US, (or at least I couldnt find anybody who would give me a price here)
