The new mag has a long term test on the thruxton, along with a dozen other, mostly, sportbikes. Contrary to popular belief, it braked better than a couple of 'em and beat one 0-100. Top speed recorded was 125mph. They hated the stock pipes(went to tors) and installed Ikons. Great review, by a very critical mag.
ps- The cover has a Rocket III doing a tailight scraping wheelie!
Yep, just saw this, myself. They liked it, they really liked it!
They seemed to have figured out that the Thruxton is about more than just pure numbers.

It's in Bike, which is a big glossy British bike magazine. It's whatever issue is currently on the shelf at Barnes and Noble--I didn't buy it 'cos it's, like, $8.95 a copy.
Bike, though, is pretty cool and I do buy it sometimes.
