I kind of like that teardrop brake light on the back of the Guzzi by the way. Probably not very practical to attach a brake light to the removable cowl though. Darn.

Boy that looks just like my bike did the day I picked it up. You won't see many of the Red Thrux's on the road - black is the predominate favorite for the 04 models. I don't even have a picture of my thrux when it was red or stock. Have fun with the ride. JCW
I knew I wanted a Thruxton but I couldn't make up my mind on the color and actually the red was probably at the bottom of the list, but a good deal presented itself on a leftover '04....and big surprise, now it's my favorite color!

Hey Steve,

Where did you get that Davida image? I'd actually be interested in buying a poster of that, but can't find any Davida advertising images on the 'Net. Maybe I haven't looked long enough.

Tom, you've got your Thruxton set up about the way I want mine; with no rear fender, black shocks (already have them and need to install - see related thread), bar-ends, and new turn signals. Looks good. Methinks you need a new helmet though (grin).

I actually wanted the red bike, and thought I had one lined up. It was sold on the same day I finally decided to buy it, and I ended up with an '05 black instead. The black is cool, but part of me still wishes I'd been able to get the red.

Jason

Since that pic I ditched those small bullet turn signals that came with the fender eliminator kit, in favor of some spare Ducati t/s I had in my stash. They're black w/ amber lenses and fit in much better, imho. I also lowered the plate bracket about an inch...anyway, it's a work in progress.
