man, i am so sorry to hear about your accident. you handled it better than me. instead of going to the hospital in an ambulance i would have been going to jail in the back of the cop car for pummeling that douche, and he would have been the one in the back of the ambulance!
one good thing i've noticed about these bikes is that they seem to crash pretty well (people i know have wrecked thruxtons while racing and hauling ass and have done minimal damage, compared to my friends ducati monster which she laid over pretty slowly and has dents in the tank from the bars). i lowsided after hitting a patch of gravel several months back and only bent a lever, snapped a shifter, scratched up a bar end mirror and clutch cover scratches (which i filed out, sanded and polished, and now it looks better than new).
one thing you may need to address when a bike goes over is flooding the airbox. this may be the source of your fuel leak (also make sure your fuel line and overflow are still connected to the tank).
when i went down i rode the bike home 20 miles with no prob, but when i came out the next day the bike wouldn't start and there was a puddle of fuel underneath. this was the fuel that had flooded the airbox. to fix this the dealer drained the airbox (i had no idea what it was at the time) and put in a new air filter, problem solved. and even better solution would be to get rid of the airbox completely! i have since, with a few other mods and the bike roars now and pulls like a fiend!
nice to hear you are ok, and that your thrux survived with only minor injuries as well.
