I've seen some good review topics on the Thunderbike adjustable bars for the Thruxton.

But I am wondering if anyone has any good pictures of them they can share?

The pics on Thunderbike's site, give a nice depiction of what they do for the angle...but not a good closeup of the bars themselves.

I've seen some pretty clunky bars designs, so I'm hoping to see them "up-close" as it were, before dumping out my hard-earned cash.

Thanks!

P.S. Can anyone list out any other adjustable Thruxton bar options?

I recently took posession of a pair of the ThunderBike bars and they are very nice looking and fit well. Being multi adjustable they take awhile to get set right. However they are not hugely taller than stock. I am happy with them and I am sure they will be an improvement over longer distances.

They are just 41mm Tomaselli bars. I have a set and am happy with them.

I have a set of the HeliBars on my Thruxton. You can see pics on my album site:

Still waiting for the snow to melt to test them out.

How hard are the HeliBars to get on (Please keep in mind I have the mechanical skill of a 6 year old)

Does it require you to buy longer cables or anything like that?

It takes 1-2 hrs. You remove the 4 screws holding the gauges. Loosen the allen screw on each side of the top triple clamp and remove it. Loosen the allen screw and remove the locater screw from each of the clip ons. Slide them off the fork tube. Remove the levers and fittings on each clip on and transfer to the new heli bar for each side. Replace clip on on the fork tube. Locate where comfortable and tighten locater bolt and allen bolt. Replace top triple clamp and tighten allen bolts. Remount gauge bracket with 4 screws. You will need to play a bit with the cables but the stock ones fit fine. Be careful not to spill any brake fluid. Excellent instructions come with the Heli Bars.
