Triumphperformanceusa FEK Wiring Question

I had the triumphperformanceusa.com fek installed by my dealer in NYC at the first service. This is the one with the two leds on the license plate cover. When I picked it up the red and white wiring for the leds was exposed on the back of the bracket for the license plate and led cover. He claims there is no way to completely hide the wiring without getting longer bolts and spacers to fit between the license plate and the led bracket. Anyone else installed this kit? It doesn't look horrible and I could wrap red/white wires with black electrical tape and then duct tape the wiring against the bracket, but I really want a clean look. Thanks

Thanks but then there would be a visible gap between the plateholder bracket and the led platecover - six of one, half dozen of the other IMHO. My question was has anybody been able to do a clean install with the kit as delivered.
