Dyno time.

Just had my bike on the dyno this morning. Stock 04 Thrux engine with Mototwin sweep backs, FCR39s and K&Ns. Fuelling was perfect and whupped an EFi Thrux he'd done just the other day. A minor hiccup just off a closed throttle (annoying round town) was sorted with another 3/8 turns on the mixture screws. Boy, do those Keihins come out of the box well set up!

Can't post the graphs as my scanner is goosed but the results were

Power 66bhp with a spike at 73.

Torque 54.3 lbft

Geared for 135mph at 7500rpm with a 19t front sprocket - real world top speed with wind resistance is around 125mph - speedo reading 112!!!

Now then, I wonder when I can get round to buying 790 cams and a big bore.

Any chance you could scan & print the graph? I'd be curious to see how much of a spike the spike is. I'm not sure if you're saying that it's top hp was 73 or if it made it's best of 66hp at 7300rpm. I've got the fcrs also although I do have 790 cams & I cut my pipes into TT's & made a baffle insert. The pipes probably cost me some top end though.

are you sure you don't have that backwards? I think it would be a speedo reading of 125 and an actual of 112mph. The speedos usually read high.

Getcha a 17t sprocket just for kicks, it's a lot more fun than that dang 19t.
