I just replaced my front tire and there is adhesive residue from the old balancing weights. How do I get this off the rim?

Try some WD40 or Eucalyptus oil,
Both work great of gooey stuff.

"Goo Gone" from the drugstore or Home Depot:



This stuff works so well in removing anything sticky that it's downright scary. Plus it's orange oil based so it's pleasant to work with. The guy who invented this stuff should win the Nobel prize.
