bar end mirror question

Will bar end mirrors like these work on a thuxton?

I was looking at my bars and noticed they aren't hollow but solid on the ends, not sure if these will work.

Anyone know?

Sure they'll work , you just have to cut off the part that would go in to the bar, as the Thruxton has solid clip ons.

Pull out that long bolt and expander contraption and either use the little one that's in the end of your bar, or ideally (really, I'll get to Ace Hardware one of these days) take that bolt out of your bar, go to the hardware store and pick up a set that are a tad longer than the stock bolt and pop on a lock washer.
I have those on my bike, and as long as clarity isn't an issue they'll work, vibrate like Hell though...

Oh yeah, you do have to cut off that little nub too as mentioned above.

Cool, thanks guys. yeah got a pair of ebay for 32 bucks. Opened them up today and was like ***, how are these gonna fit.

To top it off one of the ones I recieved was missing the actual mirror piece. I was like what the hell, i have to supply my own mirror? When I opened the 2nd one up the mirror was there.

Informed the dude on ebay, and he wrote me back saying they inspect them all and asked me if I was sure I didn't drop it and break it. What a jerk.

Good reason to stick with our reputable online shops and local dealers. Thanks for posting, think I'll order a pair.

True, just had bad luck 9 times out of 10 I'm sure I would have gotten the right thing but oh well. Saved 35 bucks or so off the ones on new thruxton.

Crappy reply about the mirrors from that seller. My buddy Joe does a bunch of eBay parts, vintage and new stuff. Very nice guy that works for Harley by day but loves his Brit stuff.
