Exhaust not air tight

I installed preds a few weeks back and I noticed that the seem where the pipes join the headers, is not air tight. i used high temp silicone when joining the pipes to the header but maybe I figited with it too much after I slid on the pipes. Is there a quick fix without taking off the pipes? I was thinking about adding header wrap around the joint for looks and to stop the unseen leaks. Will the header wrap seal? Should I remove the pipes and add more silicone or can I gob silicone around the seal without removing the pipes? Any thoughts are appreciated.

and let the RTV or silicon sit up long enough to dry (overnight) before firing up the bike and blasting it all out the exhaust pipe.

(been there, done that, I could see it flying out which was kinda cool)

Silicone is best . I didn't even let it dry . Just stuffed the pipe on and let it seal . A buddy of mine used an exhaust seal which is just a pain in the arse to get off when we changed to a different pipe . Actually needed some light sand paper . Don't use that stuff
