does anyone know whether or not i have to remove the bearings in the clutch cover before i send it out to the powder coater?

if so, does anyone know how to remove them?

i am also having a pain of a time removing the shifter shaft rubber washer. anyone know any tricks?

I had my cases powder coated and never pulled the bearings out and everything was fine. Just used a o ring pick to remove the rubber.

just got the frame sliders and haynes manual i ordered. and everything looks cherry. just put in an order for stainless engine cover bolts to accent the powder coating.

Go to Loew's and get a couple of packets of 8mm stainless flat washers too. This will keep the powder coat from scratching or cracking when you tighten down the screws. Only 10NM is needed to tighten in a "star" fashion.
