Sorry I changed the subject for this particular thread...
Nevertheless,
Between the Bonnie and the Scrambler
I thought the frame was different? At least the foot rest mounting tabs and stuff.
Also doesn't the bonnie have a bit more power? Hence Heftier...
I may be mistaken.
I rode a friends scrambler and it was a nice bike but I thought it lacked power compared to my thrux.
and some of the body work could be made different with custom stuff.
I know that the side Shot gun pipes from Moto Plan can be put on a Bonnie or a thruxton.
Slight changes on the body work and handle bars too Thats what I mean by Hybrid.
the front forks are the same? Not sure.
Anyway,
Like I said I may be mistaken and for me it's more about the esthetic changes and mostly day dreaming MC styling.

The Thrux, Bonnie, and Scrambler ... same frame.

The front forks are the same as a Thrux - they dont have the fender stays mounting tabs. Otherwise, the same.

The power difference is because the cranks are different. Bonnies (and Thrux) have a 360deg and the Scrambler has a 270deg crank.

So we dont continue off the pathway of the cafe'd fairings ... here's a vid of a Ducati SS. Note the headlight on a 750 or 900 SS is NOT flush with the fairing. Takling it back to da old skool.

I fully agree with the "goldwing" look. But it looks like the Motorne fairing will only be able to achieve that look by lowering the clip-ons 2-3 inches.
