Convertibars

Is any one useing this set upfor thier Thruxton. Ive been thinking about it because you can raise the bars for touring but lower them to retain the cafe look of the bike. I thought about the clipon eliminator kit, but thought that it would take away from the bike. Any input would greatly be appriciated. Thanks

Absolutely the ugliest thing you can do to a Thruxton. I'd definitely go with standard bars instead of putting those monstrosities on my bike.

I agree, maybe you could consider some Tomaselli adjustable clipon's, they look alot better then those things.

My Thruxton had Convertibars on it when I bought it. They are pretty fugly. I didn't like raising them up and down, cause it was always a pain getting them back to right position again. I took them off and installed a British Customs handlebar conversion kit.

oh well, I like them...seems like an awesome design (looks aside), especially for those of us who use the thrux dual duty (street and track)

want to sell the ones you took off?
