Actually not much at all.. Bearings, races, and a little wiring changes. This swap wasn't near as back as I thought it would be.. The tricky part will be either replacing the from mag with a spoke, or changing the rear spoke with a mag!! I'm up for any suggestions you all might have..

Ive been looking for a bike that suits my needs and ive narrowed it down to the thruxton!!! We have 2 dealers in town i went to the one i thought that would be more helpfull but i got the feeling that the guy didnt have the time of day for me. I just asked him if i could hear the bike running he said no!!! i thought *** is with this guy, does he not think anyone who comes in this shop is a potental customer.(i never got this problem in ducati, the ducati dealer was my best friend and i was not thinking of buying that 40grand bike, i just wanted to sit on it lol.) Anyways i phoned the other dealer he has a older thrux but not used and said that he would sell for 7999 canadian, but its blue i really wanted black but this is a 2000 dollar discount. he said it was a 2007 but i been looking around and it is probably a 2006. Does anyone know what year it possibly is??
im probably going to get it. Tomorrow!!! oh and does anyone recommend getting the accessory silencers. I like loud pipes so will the stock pipes disappoint me?? i want to get a few upgrades now as i can bundle it with my loan, so shoot away and give some upgrade now rather than later tips.

haha, i just got back from the dealer, the guy was wrong!!! said he sold it last week, i was a little pissed coz i made a special trip over there from maple ridge. but thats life. I guess im going to have to think a little now as to what to get. its either that red one they got or get a black bonnie with the exhaust upgrade. both are gonna hit me for 13000. man why is life so expensive. I think that they should give me a discount for that, getting me hopes up and all that. you dont know the owner by any chance, give him a little heads up for me.

does your friend like the bike btw??

I've been thinking about getting this particular headlamp. Any chance you could take a picture of the wiring and post it or send it to me? I'd appreciate it.

Hey thats a nice looking bike!!! i might just give that a shot, 7k 2006, sounds a little cheap. says low milage!! whats low milage on these bikes?? and if it needed a tune up what u think its gonna set me back??

sorry for all the questions but this is gonna be my first real bike and im gonna be ready for the roads in the next week or so if all goes well on the road test.

i was almost giving up on the thrux and was just going to get the bonnie black with the nice pipes that mark had on his bonnie, im not sure if im going to like the low bar position on the thrux. How u find the riding position?? im small, 5'8 140lbs what u think?? mind u the bonnie and pipes total all in was 13k, so 7k for a 2006 thrux might be worth the back pain or wrist where does it get you??

thanks for the help btw
