Does anyone have this set-up....what is the report from the passenger on comfort?

Thanks

I picked up the dual comfort saddle and passenger pegs last week and took my wife for our first two-up TR experience this morning. It's more comfortable than my '02 for both of us (which may be damning with faint praise). It's perfectly fine for day trips as long as you take lots of breaks. I was concerned the shorter wheelbase would make it seem skittish but the smoother throttle response and better suspension make up for it. I swapped the front sprocket to 17 T which makes it quite a bit easier to ride slowly and probably helps make the pillion thing more tolerable.

Let's be honest. The best part about doubling on a Thrux? How amazing the bike feels when she gets off.

Do I have this set-up you ask... Well, I didn't exactly have a choice as Triumph forced me to purchase both if I wanted the 2-up certification!

Regarding the actual quality of the items:
The pegs are fine even though a bit too racy and sharp (it digs into the soles) according to my wife.
The comfort seat was of poor quality, both visually and aesthetically. Fine for a short ride but no more than that. Both the foam & synthetic leather left me with a sour taste for my money. I since refurbished it entirely with real leather and bultex foam - a world of difference!

I’ve done about 1500 miles on my 2017 thruxton r, mostly 2 up with the dual comfort seat and my wife hates it, compared to my old Suzuki bandit. She says it’s realy uncomfortable and she’s constantly fidgeting about while riding,
Is there a gel seat on the market, that fits the thruxton r?
Really need something soon, as we’re going anroad on it in July
