Nice wheels on the E36 M3. Bike looks cool too. How hard was it to swap the front end?

What was involved in making the TT pipes?

Just took the pipes off, cut the kink off installed a baffle... Not real hard to do.. Cheap TT pipes... If I had more time I would have cut out the crossover pipe and weld a patch over the hole.. I was surprised how well it runs after sorting out the jetting..

Distinctive bike. Must confuse some folks when they first see it. I'm guessing those pipes can rattle your molars.

3 more questions...

Where did you get the baffles?

How are they installed?

Do you ever have a problem with your kickstand just hanging out there?

JC whitney sells a 1-1/2 dia. baffle..

They are a snug fit, tapped them in and rolled the edge of the pipe over a small amount so they can't back out...

No problem with the kickstand..

What did you do with the holes that were made when you removed portion of the frame that held the exhaust and passenger pegs?

Thumbs up

04blackbonnie - bike looks amazing! - among other good things, love
the color scheme on the tank - I wouldn't have guessed a HD front end
would look as good as it does, but it really does - just great work, an outstanding custom Bonnie...

Cheers,

D9

There going to be welded up real soon.. Just put a rubber plug in them for now, it's riding season...
