New Bars

What bars have you guys tried on the thruxtons?

I currently have the stock clips ons and I noticed my hands get a bit tinglely after about 30 mins, not sure if this is just cause i'm not used to them (only had the bike two weeks) or if some higher up bars would be more comfortable

try to support your weight using your abs and back muscles rather than resting on your hands. That should help, along with some more time with the machine. I have a bonnie with clip ons, and they can be tough on your hands under 40-50mph.

Like Sweat said, use your abs. After you get used to it you will find the riding position very comfortable.

Will try that, I have been trying to hold tighter with my knees and use my back a bit when my arms got tired.

do a search for "flip and swap". cheapest thing to do and provides a VERY comfortable riding position. I know what you're saying about the stock Thrux clip ons - they caused a pinch in my wrists along with numbness from extended rides (I'll ride 300 mi in a day). Since I did the flip/swap - I absolutely love riding my Thrux.

I second the flip and swap. Before I did it, my hands were numb after ten minutes. I would be constantly shaking my hands trying to make the numbness go away. I then read up on the flip and swap and did it. HUGE improvement. The cost is basically free (except your time doing it). Its worth the try and if you dont like it, then search for bars.

Cheers,
Chans
