Tomaselli vs LSL CEK

I'm just trying to get a comparison before I lay out some cash for the LSL CEK from New Bonnie. I am running with Tomaselli's and while alot more forgiving to my back over the stock clipons I want an even more upright position. Just wondering if the LSL feels alright while still running with rearsets.
I am probably in the minorty of people who want to make their Thrux more like a Bonnie.
I'm also thinking of converting to Bonnie foot controls at some stage and removing the Thruxton rearsets.

Gee, now why didn't I think of that??
Can't afford to bro and I've already spent a ton of money modding the thrux, couldn't handle getting a stock bike and starting again.

No answers, but I'm considering the same options. Right now I have the stock clip-ons and am considering Tommasellis or possibly the LSL kit. I love the look of clip-ons but I ride two-up a fair bit and they're a little hard on the wrists.

If you still have the stock clip-ons, have you tried flipping and swapping? There's a thread here somewhere that said it was a pretty good setup...not sure how much, if any, is to be gained over Tommasellis but it's a cheaper trial then running the CEK.

Good luck and keep me posted...if you have some pics of the Tommasellis versus stock, I'd love to see 'em.

I had the LSL risers and black superbike bars fitted a week ago.
I loved the clip-ons, but they made for an uncomfortable ride for anything over short distances, and town / traffic riding was even worse.
I wanted an "all day" bike I could ride without the discomfort, and the new set-up has given me that.
I've kept the rear-sets on and so far the set-up is working fine. I find that now my boot rests on the foot-pegs just in front of the heel. This is the most comfy riding position, but when I'm in the twisties I revert back to resting on the footpeg with the ball of my foot, so I can better grip the fuel tank.

One other thing, the wider bars have made cornering a lot more fun, and I'm getting more of a lean angle. Of course this might have something to do with the utterly brilliant Pirelli Speed Demon's I've also had fitted

Bottom line is, go for it!!!

drlapo, who did you get the Tarrozzi bars from? My google searches have come up with only the low bars. Thanks,

Rob

Smile Tomaselli vs LSL

I had the Tomaselli bars on my 04 thrux for 3 years and just switched to the LSL's. The comfort level has greatly improved and turned it into an all day rider now. I have not touched the rearsets yet and don't think that will be necessary.
