Dirty Brit Bike (Custom 04 Thruxton)

I'm almost finished with my 04 Thruxton project. I'm about 98% done. The last things I need to do is fab up a front fender mount, install some bar end mirrors, and put some stubby Pazzo levers. I've named her The Dirty Brit Bike. Here is a link to my web page that goes over the project in some detail. Check it out and let me know what you kids think.

Thanks
Dirtynick

HA! Not a bad first post Nick. You're gonna sell it now that you're done? What a shame.

I don't think that this is the last Triumph that I'll do. I'm interested in doing something with a triple. I'm also keeping my eye out for another Thruxton or a Bonnie.

Nice Job

Sweet ride DirtyNick:

You have incorporated my two favorite colors for any bike. Black and Green. I especially love the black pipes. You're giving me ideas for my 07 Speedmaster.

Nice job! Love the black and green. Maybe black rims and hubs would look good too?

Looks sweet! I originally wrapped my headers, but then didn't like the look and went to paint, but your's look good, maybe it's the green vs black. Also like the fender elimation, which kit is it or did you fab yourself?

When I installed the header wrap and cured it the wrap turned a gray color. After the wrap was cured I removed the headers and painted them with the silicone sealer recommended by the makers of the wrap. Now when it starts to fade I just touch it up with sealer. The fender elimination is a BellaCorse mini fender W/LED light & some LEDs I sourced at a local computer junk shop for the turn signals. It took a little bit of screwing around to get the fender in nicely but I’m happy with the results.
