Question Stand for Thruxton? (race days = no kickstand)

Aiming to hit the track & race this year.

With racing comes belly pan.

With belly pan comes lack of kickstand.

So: I need a stand for the Thruxton while it's in the pit area. There are 1000 on the market, but most photos show Speed Triples and Ninjas etc.

What's the best for the Bonnie/Thruxton?

BONUS Points Awarded if you know of a "single person" use model, since I won't have a pit crew to run out and attach pins / bolts while I hold up the bike...

Thanks in advance...

- Carlos

I use a Condor stand on the front of my Thruxton cup racer and a pitbull on the rear. Both pricey but worth the money.

Before I got the Condor I had a cheap imitation and the first week I had it my Thrux fell off it breaking the footpeg off, bending the shifter, denting my muffler and bending my clip-on. Way more expensive to replace than the $100 price difference between stands. When the bike is on the condor you probably couldn't push it over if you tried. The Condor is a 1 man job.

The pit bull is the kind with a rubber coated arm on either side that the swingarm sits on. Not as sturdy as spools but i didn't want to weld or drill my swingarm. The pit bull takes practice and a very sturdy hand to put the bike on by yourself. There is a risk of dropping the bike if you try to put it on the stand yourself. If you have the condor this is a non issue.

I'm not a racer but I have a Condor and it's very well made and works great. I specifically avoided the Baxley chock because of the religious proselytization that I encountered on their website when I was shopping.

POWER Stands...around the track, I've seen none better, and none more versatile than their "Black Max"

I have a pitbull swingarm stand which has the handle toward the center of the bike rather than toward the rear. pretty easy to hoist it by yourself

Yeah, I noticed that since I got the Baxley, I've been seeing God every time I overcook a corner entry!
