Got some riding in on Sunday. Only bike the road. It amazes me that I'm the only one I know in the area that rides a cafe' bike and in the winter to boot. Very strange, or maybe I'm strange. Anyway, my weekly tour takes me to a quiet mountain lake, where I sat on a bench looking at the bike and drooled over the new heritage badges. Wow! They announce the brand from 20 yards away and I probably picked up a couple of mph with my newly flipped mirror posts, which are now infinitely more aerodynamic. Life is good, if a bit lonely. Maybe it's my breath...
