I spoke to the Rep, Phil, over at Mikuni USA when we first started to carry this line of products from japan. Phil said the carb is more prevalent in europe and supported more in Germany and Japan then here. They would like to see this carb come to the American market but for some marketing decision they do not. So I liked the looks of the carb and liked the idea of the Accel pump.
I was also told by the techs in Japan that the "TMR carb characteristically will cover a wider range than FCR"
and
"will help increase the the lower and middle rpm power and torque much easier than FCR. it is a More aggressive more snappier feel."
I too did some search and found that most of the needles and jets can be found here through SUDCO. In fact when I first got the TMR I took it over to SUDCO and they said it has similarities to the HS or the HSR. Some of the jets and needles can be found at Honda dealers. There is also a company in germany that sells the TMR set up for the KTM.

If you would like a exploded view pictures and notes that I made during my research of the TMR I can email it to you.
Here is the actual Japanese
TMR info. it's all in Japanese but with a little help from a translation tool online at
SYTRAN
and some knowledge of Japanese i got a pretty good idea.
Here is a dyno chart from them

This is with using a stock air box and stock exhaust.
Bottom line for me was the neck snapping power this gave me out of the box bolt on. Pretty impressive.
I have never used a FCR or any other Aftermarket performance carb on my Thruxton so I can not compare the power difference

But info on these are looking kinda dim. Thx
