Anyone seen any viable rearsets developed for the R yet? I like the idea of moving my feet controls back a bit. That said, adding the rear footpegs would offer a change in position as well and would be an inexpensive addition in comparison. Anyone installed RIZOMA or other aftermarket pegs on the pillion mounts yet?
At 6'3" I occasionally need to stretch my legs or change poositions. I used to move them back to the passenger pegs on my K1200RS, which is a much bigger bike. Really just looking for some input on aftermarket pegs and mounts ...Will probably just purchase the OEM pillion pegs, but I've got a blackout thing going and was hoping to get black pegs front and back.
Also looking for Thruxton R rearsets. For me moving the pegs up 1-2" would allow my knees to hit the tank instead of the cooling fins below it, reducing strain on the wrists.
I know that this is an old thread, but here's sharing a solution for the thread-starter if that has yet to be resolved: there is a rearset from Sato Racing which I think will resolve the issue. It's not a cheap solution though.
