Talking chromed seat cowl

hey - i am looking to get a chrome seat cowl for a thruxton gel seat. any ideas or info. . can you chrome one of the o.e.m cowls , which seem to be made of some type of plastic? . any help appreciated.

If you want to paint your existing seat cowl, there is such a thing as 'chrome paint'.
