New Rear Shocks soon to be available

stay tuned...

I'd always used Penske stuff in my track bikes before, and so I called them to work with me on the Thruxton and they weren't interested in getting into the high performance end of the stereo market it seems...guy was extremely arrogant and rude to be honest

not sure if I should spill the beans on who, but I just got off the phone with a major suspension company (USA) who is going to be making me a set of "Ohlins Quality" rear shocks for the Thrux..cost is TBD, but will be much less than Ohlins..they will mass market these to everyone. I'm expecting to have the shocks on my Thrux for my first race at Summit in late may...

hint, probably ALL of the AHRMA Thruxton Cup guys have their components in the front end...

The tech guy I talked to was very interested in working on this project. He said he is a vintage bike and AHRMA enthusiast and had sold the idea to his company just a short while back. He said the timing on my call was impeccable. They are actually getting a bike from Triumph, I think next week..He took down my weight, my riding style (trail braker vs hard on the brakes etc..) , the tracks I plan to ride and everything...had a great attitude about working on this... I was very pleased

he may even peruse these boards and if he does, he can divulge the company..but y'all already know from my hint lol

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I didn't have to look at the answer.

I'm very happy with my Works Performance setup on my T100. But you can never have too many quality choices. It is good to hear that "they" are developing shocks for a Triumph twin.

i just got my bike back from the shop after doing some routine maintenence and having racetech progressive front springs installed. i've noticed a big difference with these in just the 200 or so miles i've put on it. they have inspired alot of confidence so i can't wait to see what they have for the back end. the springs and install(because they already had the front end apart on a fork seal factory repair) came to a whopping $106 and it is becoming apparent that it was the best money spent so far. i look forward to this announcement when it hits.
